Shyanne Holly, National Director of Miss Rodeo Alaska, Inc., was born in Anchorage, Alaska and has been riding horses since the age of 4. She got her American Quarter Horse Hottie when she was 15 years old and they immediately began trick riding and drill team on the Rebel Riders Trick Team and the Cadence Varsity Drill Team, both part of the Alaska Youth Equestrian Club. In 2016, Shyanne stepped down from the teams in order to pursue her desire to reign as Miss Rodeo Alaska where she wound up competing against 31 other girls for the title of Miss Rodeo American 2017 in Las Vegas. She said it was an incredible experience from having the opportunity to ride numerous horses to meeting amazing people. After meeting her husband Bradyn, the couple took over coaching the teams that make up the Alaska Youth Equestrian Club, bringing Shyanne back to her old stomping grounds to bestow her knowledge onto the next generation of riders. Now happily married, Shyanne still enjoys trail riding on Hottie and teaching youth about horses any chance she gets, though she has stepped down as coach of the Alaska Youth Equestrian Club.
