2018 Teen Miss Rodeo Alaska

Payton Bergin

Hello, My name is Payton Marie Bergin. I am a graduate of Mat-Su Central School, class of 2018. I am excited to explore further educational opportunities with this accomplishment under my belt. The opportunity of holding a title in the Alaska Rodeo Royalty Court has been a dream I have aspired to achieve since middle school. The combination of grace, poise and integrity have all been aspects that I have strove to display in all my interactions with others and has been a driving factor behind my everyday life.
I own three AQHA geldings, Gunnar, Rowdy and Ruger, and they awe me with their kind demeanor's and try everyday. They are my inspiration behind my passion for the ethical treatment of animals.
Now that I have graduated high school, my focus is shifting from classes to more time spent atop my three geldings. I am also a proud volunteer at the Palmer Museum of Art and History. It is at the museum I am given time to learn and reflect upon the history and people of my favorite small town. However, I also look forward to volunteering at the animal shelter as soon as my schedule solidifies. I hold the same pride in my community service as I do the sport of rodeo and I would be honored to serve as your Miss Teen Rodeo Alaska 2018.
