Bradyn Holly is a born and raised Alaskan and is the President as well as the Chair of Media for Miss Rodeo Alaska, Inc. Growing up on the Kenai Peninsula, Bradyn learned at an early age the value of hard work. At the young age of 11, he was gifted his Appendix Quarter Horse, Rosa, but had to figure out how to pay for her. So he started his lawn care business and grew the business over the next nine years until selling it and moving to Anchorage. After high school, Bradyn completed Paramedic School earning an Associates of Applied Science in Paramedic Technology. Throughout all of this time, Bradyn and Rosa competed in barrel racing, pole bending, and team penning where they won numerous awards and became a top competitor in the state. Through rodeo, he met his wife Shyanne, who, at the time, was Miss Rodeo Alaska 2016. They married in July 2019 and enjoy living in Anchorage with their dog, Finn. Now Bradyn works for Mat-Su Borough EMS as a Paramedic. In addition to his work in EMS, Bradyn is also the author of Della Testa Rossa: From Hero to Zero and Back Again, a book that highlights Rosa’s life including her struggle with Navicular Disease.
